It all began in 2012, when I came to Fuerteventura to work. Even then I noticed how tour guides sold their excursions in the hotels: for every booking they first had to phone the provider to ask about free seats. The guest waited, the guide hung on the line, and at the provider the phone never stopped ringing.
The idea that it doesn't have to stay this way never let go of me. In 2022, back in Germany after Corona, I started programming LinkYourTicket: see free seats instantly and book them — digitally, without a phone call.
What sets us apart is real-time availability. Tour guides and holidaymakers see at the same moment how many seats are actually still free. Once one is booked, it's gone for everyone else immediately. No asking back, no double bookings.
The app has been live since 2026. My wish is for it to grow and make booking excursions as easy for everyone as it should have been long ago.
