Cookie statement

LinkYourTicket is operated by Frank Arlt, Bankstraße 14 B, 47441 Moers, Germany. This statement describes which cookies we set, what for, and how long they stay. It complements our privacy policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let it recognise you on your next visit — to keep you signed in, or to remember your language.

We set the cookies in the tables below ourselves. Cookies from ad networks or social networks are not in use here. A third party comes into play in exactly one place: the map on the experience pages — and only if you have consented to it.

Necessary and functional cookies

These cookies are required to run the site or remember your settings. They cannot be switched off, because signing in and booking do not work without them.

Analytics cookies

The measurement reuses the session identifier that is set anyway to document your decision — no separate cookie is created for it. If you decline, nothing is measured.

We measure only on our own site and share nothing with third parties. No profile is built beyond your visit.

External maps

The experience pages show a Google Maps map. It is loaded directly from Google. In doing so Google receives your IP address and which page you opened, and it can set its own cookies. That is why we only load it once you have consented.

Without your consent a plain tile stands in the same place. Only when you click it does Google Maps open in a new tab — before that, Google learns nothing about your visit.

Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google's privacy information is available at policies.google.com/privacy. https://policies.google.com/privacy

Third-party services

Apart from the map we embed no service that stores cookies on your device. In particular we use no ad networks, no social network buttons and no third-party analytics services.

Experience images are delivered through an image service. It sets no cookies, but for technical reasons it receives your IP address when an image loads — as does every server your browser requests something from. Details are in our privacy policy.

Retention of measurement data

Besides the cookies, we store on our servers:

DataRetentionReason
Measurement data about the course of a visit180 daysOf no value afterwards; allows a season-on-season comparison
Record of your cookie decision (time, choice, IP address, browser identifier)3 yearsArt. 7(1) GDPR requires us to be able to prove consent

The record is stored even when you decline — otherwise we could not prove that we did not measure.

Legal basis

Necessary and functional cookies: § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, as strictly necessary for the service you asked for; processing under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Analytics cookies: § 25(1) TDDDG together with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — solely on the basis of your consent.

External maps: § 25 (1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR — solely on the basis of your consent. Where data is transferred to the USA, this relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR).

Changing your choice

You can change your decision at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. If you withdraw consent to analytics, the lyt-sid cookie is deleted immediately and measurement stops.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser. If you block all cookies, signing in and booking will no longer work.

Managing cookies in your browser

Independently of our banner you can view, delete or block cookies in your browser. Each vendor describes this in its help pages:

Google ChromeMozilla FirefoxApple SafariMicrosoft Edge

On a phone you will find the same settings in your browser's settings under iOS or Android.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. To this day there is no uniform standard for it, so we do not evaluate it. Only your choice in the cookie banner applies; it holds regardless of what your browser sends.
