LinkYourTicket saves you time! 🙂
The subscription fee is a minimum charge, not a surcharge
You never pay both—the subscription fee and the commission. The commissions from your bookings are applied toward the monthly fee. If they cover the fee in a given month, the fee is waived entirely for that month.
Here’s an example with a €59 base fee:
- €0 in commission for the month — you pay the full €59
- €20 in commission — €20 is applied to the fee, so the bill comes to €39. Total charge: €59
- €59 in commission—the invoice is for €0. Total charge: €59
- €150 commission — the invoice is for €0. Total charge: €150
The deduction applies starting from the first cent. There is deliberately no threshold such as “the fee is waived for amounts of €100 or more”—such a limit would mean that one additional euro in revenue would suddenly save you half the fee.
The bottom line is that you always pay the higher of the two amounts: the base fee or the commission.
Commission applies only to direct bookings
The percentage in your rate plan applies exclusively to direct bookings from tourists—that is, bookings that come directly to you via the app or website.
The following are not affected:
- Tour guide bookings—these are handled in cash and offline between you and the tour guide; we don’t handle the money
- Sales outlets—they pay through their own subscription, not through your commission
- Manual bookings—that is, bookings you create yourself in the app
Tour guides book for free
Tour guides can book your tours without incurring a commission or fee. You settle payments with the tour guide directly, just as before.
When You’ll Receive Your Money
Bookings from tourists go through our payment processor. Payments are disbursed no earlier than one day after the tour—this buffer covers complaints and chargebacks. For very last-minute bookings, there’s an additional minimum waiting period of 48 hours from the time of booking.
After that, the payment service provider will transfer the funds to your bank account; this takes a few more business days.
Employee Accounts
The number in the pricing plan indicates how many people on your team will receive their own login—each with their own username and password, rather than shared access.
Gallery Photos
This is the number of photos you can upload per event. The images will then appear in the photo gallery on your event page.
Vacation Break
If your business is closed for a holiday, you don’t have to cancel your subscription. You can pause your subscription:
- up to 30 days per year
- a maximum of two breaks per year
- at least 7 days per pause
- You choose the start and end dates yourself; the start date can be in the future
During the pause, we won’t send you any invoices, and your tours won’t be visible to tourists. Your access remains active—you can still log in to the app and prepare everything. Days you’ve already paid for won’t be lost: after the pause, your billing date will be postponed by the duration of the pause.
If you already have bookings for that period, we’ll let you know before the break begins.
Try it for free
You won’t choose your subscription until after the free trial period ends. The duration of the trial is listed on the pricing page—in regions with an ongoing launch promotion, it’s significantly longer for the first businesses to sign up. No subscription fee will be charged during the trial period.
The commission on sold tours still applies: As soon as a tourist books through LinkYourTicket, we bill it as part of your subscription—the trial period is free in terms of the subscription, not the sales. You can see how much the commission is for your plan on the pricing page.
Sales Tax
Below the pricing plans, you’ll find a note regarding sales tax. It depends on how we’re currently billing—either as a small business under Section 19 of the German Sales Tax Act (UStG) (in which case no sales tax is shown) or with sales tax included in the listed prices. Whatever is stated there always applies.
For invoicing, we need your company’s name, address, and tax ID number. If any of this information is missing, we’ll let you know before you complete your subscription.
Change, pause, or cancel your plan
You can do this yourself in your account under “Manage Subscription”:
- Change your plan—the change takes effect immediately, and the prorated adjustment will appear on your next invoice
- Pause your account — the vacation pause mentioned above
- Change payment method
- Cancel subscription — your access remains active until the end of the current billing period. You can cancel the cancellation at any time by clicking “Cancel Cancellation”
You can find your invoices in the same place under “Invoice History.”
