Provider: How do schedules and priorities work?
An event isn't visible until it has a schedule. The schedule specifies the time period during which the event can be booked and at what prices—and if two time periods overlap, the priority determines which one applies.
📱 Create a schedule
- Open your event and go to the Schedules tab
- Tap Add Schedule
- Under “Validity Period,” set the start and end dates
- Under “Standard Prices,” enter the regular retail prices. The adult price is required; you can adjust everything else later in the “Prices” tab
- Set “Activate & Publish” to “Published” so that the schedule is visible to buyers. “Inactive” means the schedule is created but not visible
- Tap Save
You can create multiple schedules for the same event—for example, one for early birds, one for the standard price, and one for last-minute bookings.
The “Internal Notes” field is visible only to your team, never to the customer.
What is priority?
The priority determines which schedule is displayed to the customer when two or more time periods overlap. You enter it in the "Priority" field as a value between 1 and 100. The higher number takes precedence.
Example—you’ve created two schedules:
- Early-bird tickets — valid Oct. 1 through Oct. 31, priority 80
- Standard price — valid Oct. 15 through Nov. 30, priority 50
From October 15 to October 31, both schedules overlap. Because Early Bird tickets have a higher priority (80), your customers will see only the Early Bird price during this time. Starting November 1, the standard price applies again.
Therefore, always assign a higher priority to special offers—such as discounts, early-bird, or last-minute periods—than to the standard price.
If it doesn’t work
- The event doesn’t appear for customers. Check whether the schedule is set to “Published” and whether today’s date falls within its validity period.
- Two schedules have the same priority. This cannot be saved—assign different values; otherwise, it won’t be possible to determine which price applies.
- The wrong price is displayed. Almost always, two time periods overlap, and the unintended one has the higher priority. Compare the numbers in both schedules.
